I agree! Glad to have you back! And you are so right…I always hope those ’self-help’ relationship books are going to miraculously shed light on the rules of the dating game, but inevitably, I end up more lost and thinking, “Really…?” I’m thinking I need to read something like “Self-Matters” by Dr. Phil instead! Maybe if I can figure myself out, men/relationships will naturally follow…

Awe thanks Niecey, Every once in a while I stop writing in order to get a handle on life. I have to feel what I am writing you know! I still can’t believe someone actually reads my post and looks fwd to them lol.. I have to check out that book! That def sounds like something I would love to sink my brain into! Yes a new post from u!!!!! Whooo hoooo! I hear u! I am currently reading this book myself which was going to be the focus of my next post but I highly recommend this book to every woman. It’s called “How to Avoid the 10 Mistakes Single Women Make” by Michelle Mckinney Hammond. It is amazing, very insightful, thought provoking and not to mention hilarious! Oddly enough since I’ve been reading it on the train I attract alot of attention from the least suspected sources—men!!! LOL I understand what u mean about the more time u spend reading about love the less time u spend “being about love” but it’s good to prepare one self especially if past experience has rendered u not as effective or productive in the love department as one would like to be. One quote from the book that I liked went something like this: You don’t need a whole bunch of men in ur life, just the right man.
